The SPECTRE 2B builds on the proven performance of the SPECTRE 2, integrating a proprietary non-polarizing backfill system to improve soil contact and stability across a wide range of field conditions. Each electrode is enclosed in a breathable cotton bag containing a proprietary non-polarizing backfill that ensures consistent performance from dry to fully saturated soils.

Available in Copper-Copper Sulfate (Cu-CuSO₄) and Silver-Silver Chloride (Ag-AgCl) chemistries, the SPECTRE 2B provides dependable potential readings in dry climates, normal soil conditions, and extremely moist or flooded areas. It’s the ideal solution for corrosion professionals who require stable, maintenance-free accuracy in challenging soil environments.

Each electrode includes 25 feet of #14 XLPE-RHW-2 insulated lead wire, providing flexibility and long-term durability during installation. The SPECTRE 2B must be installed within six months of the manufacture date to maintain backfill integrity and moisture balance.
