The SPECTRE 1B is engineered for buried service applications where accurate, stable, and long-term potential readings are required in dry, normal, or moisture-rich soils. This model incorporates a proprietary non-polarizing backfill system enclosed within a breathable cotton bag, providing superior soil contact and consistent performance across a wide range of environmental conditions.

The electrode features a 2” × 7” long high-impact ABS housing that delivers strength, reliability, and long service life in field installations. A 2-inch sensing zone ensures focused, responsive measurements and dependable data under varying soil moisture levels.

Available in Copper-Copper Sulfate (Cu-CuSO₄) and Silver-Silver Chloride (Ag-AgCl) chemistries, the SPECTRE 1B delivers accurate and repeatable readings in normal soil conditions, dry climates, and flooded or high-water-table areas.

Each electrode includes 25 feet of #14 XLPE-RHW-2 insulated lead wire, providing flexibility and long-term durability during installation. The SPECTRE 1B must be installed within six months of the manufacture date to maintain backfill integrity and moisture balance.
