Tinker & Rasor introduces the DL-1 Data Logger. The DL-1 is a portable battery operated four-channel data logger capable of measuring DC and AC volts. The small diameter (1-1/2 inches) of the DL-1 allows it to be concealed in the riser of most test stations, including the Tinker & Rasor Model T-3 and comes in an environmentally sealed case.
The DL-1 is capable of sample rates from 99 minutes to speeds as fast as 512 times a second, making the DL-1 able to record light rail and telluric events as well as the "new" generation of high speed current interrupters. In most applications, the DL-1 replaces the need for a digital voltmeter, oscilloscope and waveform analyzer.
The TRAC (True Recording and Capture) software runs on Windows^® platform PC's for programming configurations and fast downloading of data from the DL-1. The TRAC software displays over 550,000 samples with date and time stamp in a table format and has single click graphing, as well. The data can be saved as a graph or table, and may also be exported.

**Inputs**
	Analog – Four independent channels simultaneously recording AC and/or DC voltages. Range selectable – 300V AC RMS or +/-5V DC to +/- 100V DC (bipolar).

**Channel Configurations**
Channel 1 & 2 –Bipolar DC analog input with automatic AC rejection for data collection and recording traditionally preformed with a digital voltmeter. +/- 5V DC range. Software is configurable for DC readings with the appropriate shunt. Channel 3 – 300V AC RMS range. Software selectable voltage input. Channel 4 – Bipolar DC analog input with TrueView. No filters.

Data Storage
Data Storage – Over 550,000 samples. Recording Duration – 0.002 seconds to years Sampling Frequency – Fast as 512 Hz, Slow as 99 minutes (all channels) Data Memory Battery Life – 10 years.

Communication
	Interface – RS232 Baud Rate – 9600 BPS. To 115.2k BPS.

**Operating**
Power Supply – 9V battery. Recording data retained in memory in the event of 9V-battery failure for 10 years. Battery Life –Up to 2 months 9V alkaline Temperature Operating: -10º to 60º C. Temperature Storage: -20º to 70º C. Status – LED indication of Data Logger On/Off, data collection start, logging, stopped / complete, low battery and memory full.

**TRAC Software**
	Powerful TRAC (True Recording and capture) software is included with the DL-1. TRAC software allows for configuration and data retrieval of the DL-1 from a Windows^® compatible platform. Easy to use menus allow for quick setup or change. A notepad is provided for recording additional information such as test station location. Spreadsheet for display of channel, voltage and time and date data. Data collection can be started and stopped by a pre-programmed time/date.
